Resolution No. 24

To Express Great Appreciation for the Proclamation of His Majesty Raja Raam; To Accept the Honor of Special Ambassador Status of the Global Country of World Peace Bestowed by His Majesty upon the Members of the City Council; To Invite All Mayors to Join in a Federation of Mayors of Peace Loving Cities; and To Establish November 1 Perpetually as Mayor Wynne’s Day

Whereas, the Global Country of World Peace has established a Capital in Maharishi Vedic City, in the center of our country;

Whereas, we are proud to host the first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, His Majesty Raja Raam, who has the program of introducing the Constitution of the Universe—Vedic Constitution, Rk Ved—which administers the infinite diversity of the ever-expanding universe with perfect order through Natural Law—to support and enrich the national constitutions of all countries and the constitutions and guiding principles of all cities, states, and provinces;

Whereas, His Majesty Raja Raam has issued a proclamation of the Global Country of World Peace on this first day of November, 2002 recording his great warmth of feeling for the citizens of Maharishi Vedic City and for the divine inspiration of the Honorable Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City, Dr. Robert G. Wynne, and the City Council, for adopting the Constitution of the Universe as the constitution of their city administration; and

Whereas, His Majesty expressed in the proclamation the wish to appoint every member of the City Council as special ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace to different countries and together to raise the quality of administration and to create permanent world peace.

Be it therefore Resolved, that the City Council of Maharishi Vedic City warmly expresses its great honor and appreciation for the proclamation of His Majesty Raja Raam, the first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, and welcomes His Majesty to the City.

Further Resolved that the City Council accepts the great honor that His Majesty has bestowed upon them of special ambassador status of the Global Country of World Peace for different countries in order to jointly help create permanent world peace and problem free administration.

Further Resolved, that the gift of Maharishi Vedic City to every other City is the Constitution of the Universe, to support and enrich the national constitutions of all countries, which will serve to bind the great Mayors of the world in one bond of world peace.

Further Resolved that His Majesty Raja Raam has discovered the precise one-to-one correspondence between the forty fundamental structures of Natural Law, as expressed in Rk Veda and the Vedic Literature, and the forty fundamental structures and functions of human physiology. The forty aspects of Natural Law, the managing intelligence of Nature, are the most basic structures of everyone’s mind and body. When these are enlivened in the individual, his or her inner intelligence is able to spontaneously function in full alliance with the physiology of the whole universe. It is necessary that all these values of Natural Law always remain fully awake within the physiology of everyone so that all thought, speech, and action can always be according to Natural Law, so that no one violates Natural Law and no one creates the ground for suffering.

Further resolved, that with the inspiration of the first ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, His Majesty Raja Raam, it is our joy to invite all mayors of the world to join in a Federation of Mayors of Peace Loving Cities in the world—their gracious peace loving cities will be our sister cities, and to come to Maharishi Vedic City to celebrate problem-free administration and permanent world peace;

Further resolved, that the City Council of Maharishi Vedic City establishes this day as Mayor Wynne’s Day that will be celebrated every November 1 in Maharishi Vedic City to mark this day in the yearly calendar and to celebrate on this day every year in honor of the great founding Mayor of Maharishi Vedic City who is dedicated to offering problem-free administration and the possibility of world peace to every city and government in the world.
