Resolution No. 20
Adopting the Goal of Creating a Win, Win, Win Situation for Every City in the World and Defining the Goals of the Central Bank of the Global Country of World Peace, the economic policy making authority of the City
October 23, 2002
Whereas, Maharishi Vedic City is concerned not only for the well-being of the City and its own citizens, but also for the well-being of the world—to create a balanced world economy and permanent world peace; and
Whereas, the Capital of the Global Country of World Peace was inaugurated in the City on Victory Day, October 15, 2002.
Whereas, the City through its economic policy making Central Bank would like to offer its services to the Global Country of World Peace, and the interests of the City and the Global Country of World Peace converge in the desire to help all the cities of the world and for the city to serve as a guiding light for all the cities in the world—an appropriate goal for a new city
Now therefore, be it
Resolved that to achieve these purposes and to honor the first mayor of the City, Mayor Robert G. Wynne, the City adopts the goal of creating a win, win, win situation for every city in the world;
Further resolved, that to not only achieve its own economic goals but to help other cities, the Central Bank of the City shall work jointly with the Global Country of World Peace and the name of the Central Bank shall be called the Central Bank of the Global Country of World Peace, which will also distinguish the name from any commercial banks in the state of Iowa that may be called “Central Bank;”
Further resolved that the Central Bank of the Global Country of World Peace shall be exclusively a policy making body and shall not engage in the business of banking for this reason the name shall be followed by a phrase “Policy-Making Authority.”
