Local Option Sales Tax
February 27, 2002
WHEREAS, the City currently does not have a local option sales tax;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City shall submit to the voters at the earliest election time the proposal to adopt a one (1) percent local option sales tax, the proceeds of which shall be used for general purposes of the City.
